I absolutely love this place and would recommend it to locals and anyone visiting. This is a very cozy cafe - restaurant. They got amazing pastries. The food on the menu is delicious as well. Perfect brunch place!

I love Nonna's! The pastries are top tier, I'm a croissant girlie and theirs are some of the best. Their loaves are also always a hit in our household, the bread that will never go bad. Coming here for a sit-down meal with friends is always fun. The wait staff are friendly and attentive. Well worth the price. There is limited seating so prepare for a wait if you're going during peak brunch hours. However the cafe keeps me from rating it a solid 5 stars. The folks behind the counter seem so stressed every time I go in. I'm not sure if they're understaffed or maybe they need someone specifically for mobile orders. It's like a completely different business inside. I've been coming here for a couple years now and it's just... kinda uncomfortable ordering inside. Many reviews about the servers rushing around, too. I hope management makes an adjustment and supports their staff more, I want this place to succeed! I don't think Nonna's wants their cute bakery experience to feel rushed either. Overall, I highly recommend Nonna's! Especially if you have a sit down meal.

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 This is one of the cutest cafes/brunch spots in all of Long Beach! There's only outdoor seating, so check the weather before you come. We arrived at 11 AM on a Saturday, and had to wait a little over an hour to be seated. Luckily, there are lots of cute shops to explore in the Bixby area as you wait. Spanish lattes aren't on the menu, but I saw on Yelp these were quite beloved, and our waitress told us they could still make them for us. So glad we asked because they were so good, with a hint of cinnamon. I asked for mine to be less sweet, and it was perfect. Not pictured is the ricotta, pistachio, and honey toast, which was not too sweet or heavy. We had thought this would just be one or two slices of toast, but it came as a giant cube of soft brioche, absolutely smothered in the smooth and fluffy ricotta. This was the most unique dish and our overall favorite. The carbonara was too peppery for my husband, but I enjoyed it. The steak frites were cooked a bit too rare (we asked for medium rare), but the steak was quite delicious when dipped in the bernaise sauce. We both thought the fries could've used some more seasoning, as they were somewhat bland. Service was excellent - my husband accidentally left behind an important document when we left the restaurant, and when we rushed back to ask if we could look for it, one of the staff kindly donned gloves and started rifling through the trash, and she found it for us! Impressed by how they above and beyond for their customers. We will be back!

I received an email from Nonna Mercato celebrating my March b-day with a $5 off anything from their store! I had joined their "rewards" program back in 2023 and forgot about it :) Thank you!! Brought my coffee buddy along to celebrate and picked a Strawberry Cream Croissant (picture) and a cup of brewed coffee... yummy! Sat outside under the heat lamp and enjoyed the time before the rain came.

A lovely coffee shop, where all the workers have the best hair. :) My daughter and I came to stimulate the local economy on February 28th and we were so happy to have chosen Nona Mercato. There was quite a line, but fast moving, evidence that the product is good! We ordered a couple of gigantic cornettos and watched while the bakers were preparing to proof bread in the kitchen adjacent... yummm. Such a quaint spot in Bixby Knolls area! We are looking forward to coming back for a meal!

Came here from a recommendation because I love a coffee shop on 2nd street. My hubs and I walk our dogs and stop in for their pastries all the time- then I found out that they came from Nonna. They have some fun specialty coffee drinks, Peanut Little is my favorite but they also have a really lovely coffee tonic that's refreshing. I've tried their handmade pasta, the buttery sage one is not large enough to share but their other meat-free regular pasta is a shareable size if you're ordering other things. Their pastries are a highlight. Great for a coffee date or a nice lunch/dinner spot. Wine list looks lovely to pair with the yummy food, I have not tried yet. Service was pleasant and quick. Highly recommend and will be frequently coming back.

This restaurant has such a charming ambiance! The exterior is adorned with lush greenery, and the outdoor tables are beautifully shaded, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Parking in Long Beach can be a challenge, but I was lucky enough to find a spot right in front. My partner and I arrived around lunchtime and decided to start with a Peanut Little, Spanish Milk Tea, a Nutella Croissant, and a Strawberry & Cream Croissant. I absolutely loved the Peanut Little--if you're a fan of espresso shots with a hint of sweetness, this one is definitely worth trying. For my main course, I ordered the Steak Frites but was unfortunately disappointed. The steak wasn't as tender as I'd hoped, and despite ordering it medium, it arrived more on the medium-well side. I'm a big fan of hanger steak, but this wasn't quite the cut I was expecting. My partner chose the Nonna Breakfast, and I must say, the eggs were absolutely perfect! As for the bacon, it was cooked to my liking, nice and crispy. However, my wife prefers her bacon more overdone, not me. While I regretted my choice of entrée, especially knowing they make fresh pasta, I can still appreciate the quality of the other items. The host was friendly, and although the server seemed a bit busy, the overall service was still good. I'd definitely consider coming back for another visit.

My galfriend and I came here for brunch. She ordered the quiche and I ordered the turkey Panini with a side of matcha croissant. The matcha croissant was so good. My Panini was decent. I think I'm one of those gals that need a hot sauce on the side like Tabasco. They were able to offer me a fermented hot sauce, which was decent. I enjoyed my panini. The server was decently attentive. I think it was just really busy, so she had to check on a lot of tables. The next time I come back. I want to try a bunch of their pastries. They look delicious and well made. It's a cute little place in Long Beach for brunch and lunch. It's a little hard to find parking, but that's typical of Long Beach, so you'll have to drive around to look for a spot close by.

Fantastic food and drinks. Coffee is fun and thry have holiday drinks. Grab your bread when you see it as it does sell out. Really tasty food items and very well done. Service is on point as well.

The vanilla latte here is INCREDIBLE!!!! Definitely ranks in my top 3 in the best vanilla latte category!!!! A must for sure if you love vanilla lattes!!!! If I lived walking distance to Nonna Mercato, I would get one every single day. Superior to the ones I've had especially lately. It's so yummy!!!!! Service was fantastic!!!! It was busy and there was a line, but the staff are super friendly and it's busy for good reason!!!! It's super cute. The staff are great!!!! The food is yummy!!!! The almond croissant was de-lish!!!! Would definitely recommend!!!! : )
